I think of God's steadfast love when I stare out at the ocean.  From the shore where I stand,  it beckons me to partake in its strength and endless mystery.
God's love is steadfast and trustworthy.  Like the ocean, He IS who He is and when you meet him you are forever changed.  He IS love and that love is powerful.
His very essence never wavers.
