Christine, owner of CMBearArt was born and raised in Southern Ontario where she resides with her husband and son.
Always a creative soul, she didn't pursue art until she was in recovery from a life-threatening, life-altering car accident that left her immobile for several months.
Since then, creating through art has become her full-time ministry and occupation. As someone who started her journey at 30, she focuses on encouraging others, reminding them "It is never too late to begin something beautiful and fulfilling."
A mixed-media artist and art teacher, she is well-versed in many art mediums. Her self-paced video online courses can be found on her website at www.cmbearart.com.

Artist Biography
As a self-taught artist, I create fluid or mixed-media artworks that convey biblical messages of peace and hope. My works are impressionistic and abstract in nature and as a Christian, I use plaster and paint to create heavily textured landscapes that have embedded printed biblical scripture in them. The point of the scripture is not to be readable but to act as the foundational structure of the work.
